Hi Dave,
Back in 89 or so when I was working for Ford in Florida as a District Service Engineer, I saw an article in a magazine about the Sport Tech. I had seen the car parked outside the X garage in Dearborn and always wondered about it. The next time I had a trip to Dearborn I looked you up in the company directory and asked if I could see the car. Much to my surprise you invited out to your house explained what you had done to build the car showed me your shop and took me for a thrilling ride.
I am now retired from Ford and working at NASCAR Technical Institute, located in Mooresville, NC. It’s an interesting town with about 60 race shops. Sort of NASCAR Central. If you get down this way send me an email!
